Soapnuts grow (wild-crafted) on trees in India and Nepal; the shells contain “Saponin” a natural soap, the nuts inside are used in the pharmaceutical industry.

Family name : SAPINDACEAE
Common name : SOAPNUT
Habitat : Through out India, Nepal in lower forests.
